Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Sunny Slides collects, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run a free teacher resource platform.

What we collect

• Account data: your display name, email address and, optionally, your country, language, and the grades and subjects you teach.
• Sign-in data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
• Activity: resources you save, download or view, requests you submit, and searches, so we can show your history and improve the library.
• Technical data: a hashed (not stored in plain form) network address used to prevent abuse and rate-limit requests.

Student data

Classroom tools that store class lists (for example attendance) keep only the first names or nicknames you enter. These records are private to your account; not even our administrators can view them. Please do not enter sensitive information about students.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We store your light/dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Service providers

We use Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Google (optional sign-in and file storage), and an email delivery provider to send account and notification emails. They process data on our behalf.

Your rights

• You can view and edit your profile at any time from My Account.
• You can request deletion of your account from My Account. An administrator then permanently removes your profile, saved items, collections, requests and classroom data.
• You can opt out of optional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link.
